Set of threaded grommets for hanging the curtain. With these grommets I was able to make wardrobe curtains that cover coats and shirts.

You don't need any other tools except small scissors (and of course a 3d printer).

Variants:

The GROMMETs comes in 7 diameters of the through hole (10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm and 50mm).

Each size has 2 parts, part “A” and part “B”. For example, if you need a grommet with a 20mm hole, you need to print “grommet_20_A” and also “grommet_20_B”.

Instructions:

  1. measure the diameter of the curtain rod
  2. you will need about 25% - 50% bigger through hole grommet than diameter of the rod
  3. cut out the hole in fabric (about +2mm bigger than the diameter of the through hole of the grommet), but first try it on a piece of fabric you don't need
  4. insert part A into the hole, it is better to use the thread and screw it into the fabric
  5. screw on gently part B and it's done

Printing:

Printing is very easy (no supports). I printed them with PETG, but I'm sure you can go with PLA as well (or other materials).

These are models that must work together (I mean the thread) so try the print settings on one grommet first. If you have problems with screwing, try setting the XY compensation.

Place the parts on the outer surfaces for printing:
