🇰🇷 대한민국 제주도에 오신 것을 환영합니다!

Welcome to Jeju Island, South Korea!

Jeju Island is a beautiful destination for Korean and international travelers, known for its nature vistas of volcanoes, beaches, orange groves, forests, cliffs, and more! For a year now, Jeju has been the home of MiniWorld3D founder Dany Sánchez, so here's something to represent Jeju, long overdue!

In the past, Jeju island's horses were bred and exported to mainland Korea and beyond, so they have become a symbol. A red and a white lighthouse representing the Jeju pony were built in Iho Tewoo beach, near Jeju City and the Jeju International Airport to represent this. The lighthouses go well with the ocean in the background and is a popular tourist area, and became Iho’s landmark (from VisitJeju).

MiniWorld3D is happy to bring this historical model to life as a homage to all the people of Jeju. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture!

PRINT SETTINGS

No supports, really…. tested.

Print slow, such as 20mm/s outer perimeters.

Infill 12%, lightning possible.

Two versions provided, easy & challenging. The difference is the railing, which in the challenging version is more accurate and has individual bars, possible at 1:1 scale with 0.4mm nozzle. This is also for resin printing.

For scaling down or if your printer struggles with it, try the easy version.

You can do a pause-and-change filament color, print the pedestal base in grey for concrete, and the actual lighthouse in red or white.
