Customizable Trellis with a central post for support and attachments

Ever wanted something to hold up your plants? Don't have any plants? Me neither!

Print Instructions and tips:

All parts were designed to be printed without supports. Printed all at 0.2mm Layer Height with PLA. I found that printing anything bigger causes the screws to be a bit too tight.

Be careful when screwing the legs together. They hold their weight very well given the large circumference of the post, but when tightened down too hard, you may break off the screws.

Parts:

Long Leg v1.3mf
Print one or two of these at first, especially with plants that have already grown significantly. They can be changed together for as long as you like, but I think about 9-10 is the maximum for PLA. This leg is 94mm tall with another 10mm for the threads.
Long Leg No Bore v1.3mf

This is the same as Long Leg but doesn't have a tapped hole on the bottom. It's really just for aesthetics to not have a bore. This leg is 94mm tall with another 10mm for the threads.

Long Leg No Threads v1.3mf

Each leg as 6 slots for attachments. This leg has no threads on the top to screw down other parts. This leg is 94mm tall.

Please note that this shouldn't be used as the top piece as a short leg no threads is preferred because a leg needs to be screwed down to fasten the attachments (if that doesn't make sense, don't worry. It's obvious once it's printed).

Medium Leg v1.3mf

Each leg as 6 slots for attachments. This leg has no threads on the top to screw down other parts. This part is 64mm tall and another 10mm for the threads.

Medium Leg No Bore v1.3mf

This is the same as Medium Leg but doesn't have a tapped hole on the bottom. It's really just for aesthetics to not have a bore. This part is 64mm tall and another 10mm for the threads.

Please note that this shouldn't be used as the top piece and a short leg no threads is preferred because a leg needs to be screwed down to fasten the attachments (if that doesn't make sense, don't worry. It's obvious once it's printed).

Medium Leg No Threads v1.3mf

This is the same as Medium Leg but doesn't have a threads on the top. It's really just for aesthetics to not have threads. This part is 64mm tall.

Short Leg v1.3mf

This is the shortest of the legs and is usually used at the tops and bottoms after getting a desired height. This part is 15mm tall with another 10mm for the threads.

Short Leg No Bore v1.3mf

This is the same as Short Leg but doesn't have a tapped hole on the bottom. It's really just for aesthetics to not have a bore. This part is 15mm tall with another 10mm for the threads.

Please note that this shouldn't be used as the top piece as a short leg no threads is preferred because a leg needs to be screwed down to fasten the attachments (if that doesn't make sense, don't worry. It's obvious once it's printed).

Trellis Pergola 2 Wide v1.3mf

This Pergola attachment hangs off of the legs. I've tested it to hold just about 5 pounds of weight comfortably with PLA. This part is takes up 2 of the 6 slots for attachments at each level spanning 60degrees from center

Trellis Pergola 3 Wide v1.3mf

This Pergola attachment hangs off of the legs. I've tested it to hold just about 5 pounds of weight comfortably with PLA. This part is takes up 3 of the 6 slots for attachments at each level spanning 120degrees from center

Lattice.3mf

This Lattice Attachment hangs off of the legs. This is specifically designed for things like vines to hang off or grow throughout. The lattice's height is equal to just under the length of a long leg a long leg is suggested to be used with it.

Anchor.3mf

This attachment is for supporting the base within the soil to hold the trellis upright. Print 6x for the best support, but really only 3 are needed.
