Nintendo Switch Joy-con Thumbstick Cover Replacement

Why Make Replacements?

During an overseas trip, I pulled out my Nintendo Switch and noticed that the silicone cover on one of the thumbsticks had slipped off. I could not find a replacement online and I was not satisfied with other options available on Thingiverse. Therefore, I set out to make my own.

How Does it Work?

After printing out, the replacements attach by hugging the top part of the thumbstick. I created a groove inside the covers that will allow them to stay on the thumbstick without the use of glue. They fit a bit snug but since they are printed using soft TPU, the covers should stretch over the top of the thumbstick--much like fitting a tire on a bike rim.

Problems?

Let me know if you have any issues and I will work to correct them. I am no expert but I am willing to work with anyone on improvements.
