A simple spacer designed to fit around the spring holder of a Chinese arcade button.

Many budget friendly (AKA, Not Sanwa) Chinese arcade buttons are made with slightly longer stems and springs, which can cause compatibility issues for shorter springs, especially those with a low weight, such as 20g. Adding a spacer between the spring and the button can allow you to use Sanwa springs with little effort.

In my case I'm using a Chinese 50mm Button, that is unable to be supported by a Sanwa 20g spring, however, after adding the spacer, it can now comfortably hold the button up and perform nicely.

If this doesn't fit your button, let me know and I'll make a few changes and add some new additions, in theory this also should work on Sanwa buttons if you wanted to pre-compress a spring.

Printing Instructions:

  • Supports: None required, no overhangs over 45 degrees.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Material: PLA worked fine just fine
  • Infill: 100%

Remember it's very small, so maybe do a raft if your not confident in your printers bed adhesion, I've found it can print with no issues on my Ender 3's PEI bed, but your mileage may vary.
