It will not take you across time and space but it will look awesome when you turn the lights on.
The switch cover come in 2 versions 1 which is a whole piece and one with top and bottom pieces to fit on smaller beds.
The full size piece is 270mm long so will need a large print bed.
The 2 piece version the bottom section is 215.5mm long.
The accessories (Windows, Handles & Keyhole) are available as one STL or separate STL's in case you have problems printing them together.
Print at 0.2mm layer height.
Supports are required for the full cover or bottom cover section, I would also recommend using a brim or anti-warping tabs as this is a large flat piece and can easily warp at the corners.
For the The Police Box insert it is 2mm thick 1mm for the base and 1mm for the text this allows a pause and filament change easily.
Glue (I used Super glue) is required for the handles and the keyhole, also for joining the top piece to the bottom piece the pegs are more for alignment.
The windows, door sign and police box insert are designed to be press fit and should not require glue however as I had the glue out I gave them all a splodge or two just to make sure.
Finally there are some grooves on the back to help push the switch into the cover this covers the actual switch and gives that full Tardis effect.
2x M3.5 35mm electrical screws.
As I found out the hard way, not every light switch comes with long enough screws to allow this cover to fit over the top of your light switch so i would recommend buying a couple of 35mm long screws for this.
I hope you enjoy this model I had great fun designing it with the Dr Who theme running through my head.
Please post a make or drop me a message if you need any other information, I look forward to seeing all your wonderful Tardis.
Edit: I have added some chamfers to the midsection as suggested by @Marksman702_996887
