Not fully tested! Time will determine how well this model holds up. Model has spaces included for a battery and solar charger but I ended up not using these.
Model was originally designed to use the sparkfun micromod weather carrier board, an adafruit stemma pmsa003i, a sparkfun qwiic switch (for powering off the pmsa003i when its too cold), a adafruit solar charger (which I ended up not using due to my panel being too small bummer), and a 6000mah lithium cell (not used since the panel was too small).
I assembled the model using 12-14 inch long zip ties threaded in from the top, then used another zip tie to cinch it tight. finally printed 2 screens and glued them in with super glue although there is a grove for them to sit in. the core with the electronics should push up and twist lock into place. There are covers included for added weather proofing for qwiic modules, the carrier board, and the electronics portion of the adafruit stemma pmsa003i.
I realize the location I used on top of a shed is not ideal, but due to the solar option not working out I ended up going with a basic wyze outdoor supply with a usb-c adapter.
