I wanted to fix the x-axis alignment problems with my Sovol SV06 Plus once and for all.
The best solution is to level the x-axis relative to the frame (not relative to the bed). Once the x-axis is level to the frame this can be used as a reference to level the bed relative to the x-axis (and the frame) via the silicone tubing modification.
I couldn't find any alignment tools to help get the x-axis level to the frame, so I designed this set. There were many tools to level the x-axis relative to the bed, but I specifically want to level the x-axis relative to the frame.
This tool fits nicely into the frame extrusions that run parallel to the y-axis and stay in place by themselves. They have been designed so that you can slide them out without having to raise the x-axis first.
This jig might also work with the SV06. I don't have one so I can't check. The two models are mirrors of each other. You could download one of the files and mirror it yourself in the slicer. STEP files are provided for remixing (possibly to fit SV06 non-Plus).
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
