Quick Question: My MK4 is inside the Original enclosure, and the PSU has also been moved outside. Would this stay in place without the PSU fr magnets to stick to it ?

The Slot Buffer Holder sits on the top of the PSU. You would need to model and print a part that replicates the top of the PSU and screw it to the printer frame. It would be ideal to add magnets to this part to hold the Slot Buffer Holder in place.

Used this on my MK3s+ w/MMU2 as long as I had it and now that I just upgraded to an MK4 w/MMU3, moved this over. Fits well and works just as well. Love it!
This is awesome! I was gonna make one, but searched first and found this. Makes the Slot Buffer that much better.
I did mod mine for 5mm magnets for more grip, plus had tons already.
I think the system is good but unfortunately my power supply is made of aluminum so not magnetized 😅
Not completely finished with it yet as I still need to add the inlays for the numbers and some extra PTFE guide tubing but I love this. Makes the changing and management of filament so much smoother. Thank you guys for this.
No instructions. No parts list. Holder that mounts to the back of the buffer is very loose. Without modification such as bigger magnets and glue, this is not a solution imo.

Sorry to contradict you, but the parts list and assembly instructions are in the Assembly.pdf file.
On the other hand, the maintenance provided by the magnets that I suggest are largely sufficient for optimal operation. I have been using it for a year without any malfunction.
