Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32C3

This is a scale model of the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32C, an Arduino & CircuitPython capable RISC-V board with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C that comes with an antenna and costs $4.99. The product page for this device can be found here.

It is intended for makers building electronics to include in their design process, as it removes the extensive process of measuring this part to fit when designing your wonderful lamps/clocks/robots/etc.

Tolerances

When designing things using this model in my experience adding 0.2mm around the board will lead to a tight fit that holds the device in place. However, your boards may have slight differences depending on the batch, or perhaps your printer settings will mean more or less of a gap is needed. 0.2mm is probably a good starting point.

Safety Note

This device gets a little warm, and has an unpopulated relatively large thermal pad on the underside. If you are going to enclose it please consider adding a heat sink and ventilation.
