Yet another Uno case ? Well, I had a bit of deception with the different Arduino Uno R3 cases I downloaded and printed from Thingiverse. Some are not optimized for 3D printing, some have weak walls, some are slippery and cannot be secured in place, and some have wrong dimensions where the Uno does not even fit ! Please note optimisation includes reduced filament usage and don't expect the part to be heavy duty.

This case have been tested to provide maximum satisfaction. Just enjoy ! ;)

This case is designed to be printed fast and is optimized for 0.5mm nozzles for reduced printing paths and maximum strength. You can wall mount it or secure it in place with two screws only. You can open it by removing one screw from the top and slide the cover away. A large ventilation grid prevents the R3 from overheating. This case has been tested with various Arduino Uno R3 boards, including genuine parts as well as the cheapest ones : https://www.gearbest.com/development-boards/pp_62975.html?lkid=11247489

Notes:

This model has been optimized for 0.5mm nozzles. The maximum strength and the fastest printing speed is achieved using 0.5mm nozzles and 0.3m layer height. That does not mean you can't print it with different nozzles, but the paths won't be optimized. I printed the case successfully with 0.25, 0.3 and 0.4mm nozzles.

Post-Printing =============

Nothing except hardware

Use screws for plastic, Ideally M3x8 for the cover and M2.5x4 to secure the board.
