Prusa enclosure covers for the mounting holes in the Prusa enclosure (see picture).

Initially a made it for visual reasons, but it reduces also the smell/steam getting out of the enclosure a lot!

No tiny little hooks or other unprintable stuff, just nice walls!

The pins fit just well, not too tight, not too loose.

The long cover can be inserted easily, by putting in one edge first, or slide in sideways.

It even fit if there is a cable tie (at least the small one from Prusa).

In any case, if it doesn't fit for you, i added the fusion 360 files.

There you should only adjust the parameters tol_over in the parametric section.

I recommend increase or decrease by 0.1mm.

I printed all parts with PETG (DasFilament but with prusament settings).

I used 0.15mm layer hight quality profile (0.4 nozzle)

Please adjust the following parameters for a perfect fit (especially the random seam is important):

  • print settings → layers and perimeters → Perimiters to: 3 (in vertical shells section)
  • print settings → layers and perimeters → Seam position → random (in advanced section)

If you print multiple parts at once (with PETG) I also highly recommend to print sequencial, to reduce stringing a lot

  • print settings → output options → Complete individual objects (set checkbox)
