The Meshify 2 case from Fractal does not have a lot of vent holes in the inside bottom of the case (under the GPU). Half of them are pretty much blocked by the powersupply. If you are using fans to suck air in from the bottom, then a lot of this air gets blocked by the solid inserts that comes with the case. Removing the inserts looks ugly, so I made this vented insert to allow some more air into the case. This should provide some more air to the GPU, at least in my case since I use a 280 radiator in the front as intake. I wanted to use two fans in the bottom so I would end up with positive pressure inside the case.
The large insert can hold a 140mm fan as well.
The other small plate goes in the front, under the insert, and will prevent air from being sucked up from the bottom and blown out the front, which is wasted air in my case. This is an issue for me because the 280 radiator leaves a space underneath it where air can escape. The small plate covers this hole. This is screwed on with regular fan screws.
I have no idea how much it improves airflow, but I have nothing better to do while waiting for my CPU...........
Printed upside down, solid, no supports.
.step file is included so the large insert can be modified to hold various things, like a water pump, a SSD, or whatever. The insert is quite thin so if you want to hold something heavy like a water tank, you will need to thicken it up.
