I just saw the Inbus stand / rack / organiser thing and decided to remodel it for a Wiha set of screwdrivers I've owned for years and always thought I should make something for.

  • Holes are cut to fit the exact screwdriver set and in the order shown in the photo (left group at rear, right at front).
  • I reduced the amount of chamfer compared to the Inbus model to help ensure better bed adhesion
    • this is probably a longish print, no one wants it to fail and curl cos there is only 1 mm on the first layer.
    • check the model carefully when orienting and slicing, place it on the bed on the rear edge - the rear has less chamfer than the front edge to give it more material on the bed

UPDATE 05/08/2023: added 2nd model a bit smaller since the first is taller than it needs to be.

PRINT:

  • orientation on bed as described above
  • PETG, 0.6mm nozzle, 0.4mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 2 top and bottom, 15% adaptic cubic infill, no supports unless your bridges are really bad (this all gives it a decent bit of weight and smooth paths)
  • Took ~4 hours for me at 13.5mm3/s volumetric flow rate (was a good torture test to check hotend / extruder can handle this)
  • Turned out real nice n clean and feels like a proper solid bit of kit that won't wobble or fall over easily.
  • Screwdrivers are a good snug fit for me, if your bridges on the holes are a bit oval/droopy then carefully open them up (file / sandpaper / drill).

Be nice to see other's makes and let me know if you have any (constructive) feedback …
