I've printed 4 main modules, and they look perfect! I'm preparing to print the connectors and have a few questions. First, are the connectors even required? It looks like I could screw each main module to the wall and then add the front plates without connectors, but maybe I'm missing something. As for printing the connectors, I'm not sure which orientation is best to print them in and also which supports are necessary. The instructions say the supports are pre-loaded in the 3MF file, but when I load it into CURA, I don't see any supports.
@Josh_1632051 Hello Josh, thank you for appreciating our model. Regarding the connectors, they're designed to align and space modules for a polished look when adding a plate on top. The sturdy connectors support a significant amount of structure, allowing you to simplify assembly by screwing each side of your composition. While connectors ensure stability, if you prefer, I guess you can bypass the need of connectors if you screw each module individually, ensuring proper alignment. As for printing support, the 3mf is preloaded for Prusa Slicer; however, Cura may not recognize the support. Print with as many surfaces connected to the bed as possible, and use supports for the protruding wings. I hope this clarifies things for you.
