I found this model format incredibly cute, so I decided to make another little interpretation. This is not a very famous plane nor a very successful one, I just personally find it to be the most beautiful fighter of the Second World War.
This is the high altitude fighter/interceptor Mikoyan-Gurevich 3, which was a relatively minor upgrade of the first MiG. It was only produced 1940-1941 and was in service with the Soviet Air Defense Forces (PVO) until 1945. As aerial combat on the eastern front tended to happen on lower heights its niche proved quite redundant on the frontlines, so it was often pushed into less suited roles.
This model is based on Kaboldy's line art, and takes inspiration from the work of user Nakozen. The scale is about 1:144. The parts can be separated from the frame using the “Split to Objects” function. The wing featuring a rod (apparently called pitot tube) goes on the right side of the fuselage.
