@MacBoy__Pro_842438 the link isn't dead, it works fine for me. It simply redirects to https://www.printables.com/model/290486-ltt-screwdriver-extra-bits-gridfinity-storage
@PatvdLeer Interesting, the link was giving me a 404 yesterday.
I think the issue is due to how the tool sits in the insert. I've had no issues if one of the flat sides of the screwdriver is facing upwards as shown in the attached photos, though if the tool is turned I encounter your issue. I admit it is frustrating to try and align the tool "perfectly" just to close the lid.
You can try editing the f3d file I uploaded to increase the spacing on the lid, but you might run into issues where the bits will come loose inside the case. If I remember correctly, I had it as far back as I could on my first attempt removing the grid pattern and the bits came flying out when moved around.
Note: My case is roughed up because it's been in a tool bag for over a year (edited)
It would be great if somebody could make a box with gridfinity on the bottom as well. I'm not good enough with fusion360 yet, but would love a box that would be great in my drawer ánd on the go
What size screws are you using for the latches?
@MattCooper M3x30 SHCS
the insert has disappeared could you re up it please?
@SILENCEuk_504295 I found the issue, the link has an extra '.' included leading to the 404. I've updated it in the description, but try https://www.printables.com/model/290486
