I made this mount so I could use my DSLR as my webcam. The battery door is still accessible, but a dummy battery would be a useful accessory. You can easily screw in the standard camera screw from below, and use two smaller screws on the side for angle adjustment (Zero Degrees, -5 Degrees, -10, and -15). I don't know what size screws it uses, I just measured based on some thumb screws I had lying around. The mount connects to the wall with #6 screws, and I used some dry wall anchors. At 50% Infill, I was able to easily hold the weight of a Canon Rebel T2i.
V2 Models round corners on the wall plate, and moves the screw point for the camera off to the side to balance the weight and prevent tilting.
