Design Components:

1. EVA 3 adapter plate for Hermit Crab
2. Pass-thru belt grabbers
3. LGX Lite mounting plate
4. Rat Rig style Pinda mount (modified for this printhead)
6. EVA 3 compatible cooling duct assembly, stretched and clearanced for the Hermit Crab mount

Materials:
I recommend printing all upper components in ASA, and the duct assembly in polycarbonate. The duct assembly gets a large amount of radiant heat from the bed, so it needs to be able to withstand those temperatures. I generally print at .2mm layer height, with a .6mm nozzle.

This design is based on utilizing the Mosquito Hotend ALU Mount Plate.

A left strain relief bracket has been provided at the extruder mount for the hotend, fan, temp sensor, and level sensor wires. A right strain relief bracket is provided for the extruder wires. On strain relief brackets, I typically wrap the wires with self-fusing silicone tape or electrical tape before securing with a zip tie.

Additional Hardware Required / BOM:
1  M3 x 8 flat head screw (lower extruder mount)
4  M3 x 8 cap head screw (extruder and level sensor mounts)
4  M2.5 x 6 flat head screw (belt retainers)
2  M3 washers (for extruder mount cap screws)
10 M3 x 4.6 x 4 Heatsert (main mounting)
4  M2.5 x 6 x 4 Heatsert (belt retainers)
2 small zip ties

If you find that you need the holes resized for a slightly different size heatsert, or there are any clearance issues anywhere, let me know and I can make the required adjustments. I apply basic clearances for fit parts, but sometimes there are additional adjustments required and I am not always able to do fit check prototyping.

Firmware:
Height sensor fixed offset center is X-30.03 Y-13.875 from the nozzle. The sensor Z height is adjustable.

I strongly recommend purchasing the BOM parts and design and installing the BRS Engineering L3VER tensioner system. It saves a lot of time and effort when dialing in the belt tension.
