Prusa's first release (R1) of the printable MK4 xLCD cover had engravings to make it look similar to the UV-printed version supplied with the printer/kit. At the time of writing, the R2 and R3 releases do not have these engravings.

I used OpenSCAD to:

Make STLs of the engravings from the R1 cover
Subtract the engravings from the R2 and R3 covers

These STLs can be used to print engraved covers, similar to the approach that Prusa used for the MK3 cover, or you can also print them with the engravings in different colours.

The R2 and R3 covers have a slightly different reset button compared to R1, so I adjusted the position of the 'X' to re-centre it inside the button (nudged up by 0.3mm in my first upload and shown in the first photo, now changed to 0.5mm to improve the centring).

The included STLs are:

R2_engraved.STL - The engraved R2 cover
R3_engraved.STL - The engraved R3 cover (note that this is intended for xLCD PCB v27 or newer)
R2R3_engravings.STL - The engravings for the R2/R3 covers
R1_engravings.STL - The engravings for the R1 cover

In case you wish to print the separate parts of the engravings in different colours (i.e. \u2018ORIGINAL\u2019, 'PRUSA', \u2018MK4\u2019, the USB symbol and the reset \u2018X\u2019) you could use PrusaSlicer's \u2018Split to objects\u2019 command to separate every letter/symbol in the engravings STL, but I have also provided separate STLs for those elements:

R1_PRUSA.STL
R1_MK4.STL
R1_USB.STL
R1_X.STL
R2R3_X.STL

I have included the OpenSCAD script, in case you wish to make any further modifications. Since the script derives the engravings from the original R1 cover, and since this is no longer included among the MK4 printable parts supplied by Prusa, I have included it here for convenience, along with Prusa's non-engraved R2 and R3 versions.
