This hinged cover is primarily designed to prevent a light switch from being turned on unintentionally. It is also very useful to protect connection sockets (network sockets, telephone sockets) from dirt.

Frame:
I printed the frame in PETG with a layer height of 0.1mm. Support material is needed, which I printed with 0.3mm Z spacing to be able to easily detach it.

Hinged lid:
The hinged lid is printed in transparent PETG. In the 3mf project I added a modifier that prints the viewing window fully without infill.
I set the layer height to 0.05mm and only set the printer to 50% print speed so that the window is nice and clear.

Axles:
the axles should be 2 mm in diameter and 80 mm long.
I just took the pin out of two normal buck rivets and shortened them to 40mm each.

Drill the holes on the frame with a 2mm drill and those on the hinged lid with a 2.5mm drill.
