Marklin 5208 M track replacement

I was fed up with trains derailing over the official 5208 track piece so I thought I would make a replacement that had better track interface and would work with all variants of the 5000 series track.

Modeled in Solid-works, printed at 45 degrees with new organic supports to ensure good finish on all necessary faces as there are a few tricky overhangs.

I did do a split version but felt this design was better.

Results is I no longer suffer from the derailments.  Hooray :-)
