Honeycomb Key Holder

I designed this key holders to mount it with neodym magnets on a metal plate.

NEW improved Version V2

I added a new improved version with different arrangements of the hexagons. The inserts now have some kind of detent, so they hold better in the hexagons. Therefore also the dimensions have been optimized to have a good fitting.

For the hexagon slots different kind of inserts are available:

• hex_closed - for color accents or for covering magnets
• hex_ring - with a ring to attach as a keychain
• hex_ring_big - with a bigger ring
• hex_hook - for other items not attached to a key ring

There is also an hexagon tester, where you can easily check of the fitting of the inserts suits your application, before printing a hole Honeycomb Key Holder.

I recommend printing with 0,16 mm layer high to ensure that the slots and detents are sufficient detailed.

OLD Version V1

I recommend to reduce the scale of inserts by 5% to ensure function. Otherwise it's may not possible to assemble or remove the inserts. Please test the fitting of single inserts to find a proper fitting for your individual printing setting.
