I wanted to add case lighting to my Voron 2.4 3D printer, but I was not too fond of the options available.
(mainly the version where you print individual little brackets which you shove onto the led strip, and the version from Kapman's)

Therefore I designed a much simpler, but functional version.

Instructions;
The model consists of 2 parts;
- 1 piece of LED strip carrier
- 2 or 3 pieces of LED strip mount

Printing guide;
Carrier;
You can scale this model in the Y-direction to fit the size you want. You can choose this length based on the machine size, but I recommend measuring based on the cut locations on your led strip.
Material; PETG, ABS or ASA

Mounts;
for 250mm strips or smaller, 2 mounts should be sufficient. If your planned led strip is longer than 250mm, I suggest printing 3 mounts. Of course, you could use more if you like.
Material; PETG, ABS or ASA

Assembly;

  • Tape the led strip onto the carrier and solder the wires correctly for your machine.
  • Screw the mounts onto the inside of the front-top 2020 profile, with the angled side facing down towards the printed.
    note; only use the low-profile M3 bolts, the higher standard type will cause the carrier to not fit correctly.
  • After securing and positioning the mounts, just click the carrier with the led strip into the slots on the mounts and you are done!
