Intro

Three storeys to give your Gecko a choice of environments.

  1. First Floor: Nearly completely hidden
  2. Second Floor: Protection from above and 3 sides, but a wide outward view
  3. Third Floor (Roof): High but unprotected position to observe in all directions

Since giving my Gecko this, he goes between all floors, with a natural preference for the 1st and 2nd floors since he is well hidden compared to the 3rd floor. He will occasionally climb up to the 3rd floor, which gives him a great view, and gives me a great view of him too.

Printing

Supports required for both ceilings.

With an average ~230mm bed, you might be able to get bed-only Organic Supports in at a large angle, but risk of mid-print breakage of supports is high.

If you have trouble with sagging of ceilings, I recommend standard supports and printing on the model itself.

Any imperfections left by the supports may be useful for your Gecko when shedding, so you may not even want to attempt a support-less print. Do check to make sure imperfections aren't too sharp though, and sand them down where you deem necessary.
