I was inspired to design this model after i made the coin door found here:
https://www.printables.com/model/246127-fake-arcade-coin-door-laser-cutter-project
But i wanted a Pinball specific (they are different) door for an upcoming Pinup Popper virtual pinball build.
I have included a mix of files for Laser/wood working and 3d printing.
For the wooden parts in the pictures i used 3mm mdf.
Files included:
Coin Door - Back.svg : This is the bottom part that everything gets glued to. It has engraved lines that assist with aligning the parts that go on top. I made the lines 1% smaller than the mating parts so they should be just hidden when aligned properly.
Coin Door - Raised Parts.svg: These are the parts that get glued on top of the Back. If you want you could adjust the size of the cam lock circle and use a real cam lock instead of the included 3d print. Just change that to a cut thru line in your laser software.
Coin 1 and Coin 2 svg files are example files at 26.1x35.1mm that will fit into the Coin Mech Mount 3d print file. Use red colored plexiglass or similar laserable plastic. Spray paint it black and than engrave this picture on top and cut the outer 26.1x35.1mm box.
Arcade coin faux mech mount.stl: This is the fake coin mech. Printed mine standing tall at 0.1mm and used organic supports to grab the upper shelf.
Arcade Faux Cabinet cam lock.stl : Print this large side down, key hole up at 0.1mm
