HSW - LED Bar (w/ optional shelf) - Workspace/Display Lighting

Update 6/26/23: v2 of the bar and shelf mounts are 20mm longer to hold the lights further off the wall, and to provide more support for the shelf or hold a larger shelf.

I designed this scalable system to fit any Honeycomb Storage Wall setup. It uses mounting brackets that fit into the HSW and hold a bar for mounting LED strips. The bar clips into the mounting brackets and can simply be scaled to the desired length in your slicer. 

The mounting bracket has space for cable management, and the bar has a light blocking wall to direct/block light. A little bit of aluminum tape on this can help. The front wall can also fit an LED strip so the system can be used for display lighting. Version 2 has a back wall as well to direct light off the wall and onto your work surface.

They system also has parts for adding an optional small shelf on top. This adds storage while hiding the mounting and wiring. Scale the shelf as needed. The whole thing is designed to be friction-fit, but if you plan to put much more than a benchy on the shelf, then I recommend gluing in the shelf mounts at least.

To install, just clip in the LED bar and shelf parts (glue as needed). Center the joints between LED bar and shelf parts on the mounting brackets. Use the Shelf Clips as needed to hold the outer edges together. (I used black electrical tape on the inside of the LED bar joints to prevent light leaking, but the clipes would work).

Everything is designed to be printed without supports. Orient parts as pictured. I printed with .4 nozzle at .2 layer height.
