This is the improvement of the “A” Model. It fits better, but mounts the same… using the factory bolt holes and the factory supplied “fender delete”.
NOTE: I am printing this right now, so maybe wait a couple days until I can tell you how it turned out.
Prints on a Prusa MK3 size table. The 3 main prints take about 24 hours each.
The slider groves are for mounting future prints (See charger pic below). The charger box that rides on the fender. Anyone can make other stuff like cup holders, wallet holder, etc. Hoping for some cool stuff. All models have 50mm separation between groove centers which is important for accessories to fit.
I printed this PETG. It used about 0.75 KG of filament. Yes it fits. Yes, it works.
I had a pretty serious crash with the Fender “A” and it although a portion was ground off from the pavement, the overall structure remained intact and the I was pleased with the result. I had thought that it would break at the bolt fasteners, but that part seems to have endured unscathed. Photos to follow.
