Bolt on! Another PEG board with screws and threads.

Whether as a toy for the kids or as an organisational wall for the big kids ;-), Bolt on can be used for many things.

Basically, it's just a board with threads and screws to screw on. What is special is that each screw has a thread again.

The thread is specially made for 3D printing. No more than 45° overhang. ALL parts can be printed without support.

The bolt cas a 10mm thread and a 15 mm head. The grid for all parts are 25mm (1 field)-

Included are various screws, threaded boards, angles, boxes, letters and numbers, Toni holders, gear wheels, etc.

In the near future I will create a marble run :-) and upload all STEP files, as well as some drawings for your own parts.

I printed everything in PLA with 10-20% infill.

Part Description:

Angle and Angle Small:

Both can be printed flat. Please take care that the cut out in the thread is on top.

1T means 25mm (one field) width with Thread

1H means 25mm (one field) width with Hole

5x3 5 fields width starting with hole and 3 height

Some parts (mostly with 3 are not nice at the moment, but they work)

Bolt:

Bolt K (head length in mm) S ( shaft length without thread in mm) L ( shaft overall (Length in mm) G ( Thread cutted away (Length in mm))

I suggest to use Bolts with 10mm heads,  it is easier to screw.

Bolts with S is used to fix free spinnig parts. The bolt is fixed in the thread, but the screwed part can move freely.

Bolts with G are used to fix two parts with threads. For example you can use the 2x2x5 Wall Plate with threads and fix them at the wall ( glue or screw) and screw with these bolts the normal thread plates at these small plates.

Bolt Wall is a special bolt to fix it at the wall

Box:

Box (Depth) x (Width) x (Height)

Gear:

Gear (number of covered fields (25mm))

Letter:

Letter (Lettertyp)

Plate:

Plate Width (in fields) x Height (in fields) x  Thickness in mm

Plates are always with threads

Plate 2x2x5 Wall is special. it has a hole in the middle to fix it at the wall.

Slider Thin Plate:

Slider Thin Plate ((length) in fields) H With holes at the end

Slider Thin Plate ((length) in fields) T With Threads at the end

 Thin Plate:

Plate Width (in fields) x Height (in fields) 

Plates are always with holes

Toni:

Toni holder, you can insert a 30mm washer inside
