This remix is basically a holder for @TBA's runout sensor case which can be mounted on the top, vertical extrusion rail of your 3D printer.

Parts needed

  • 1x ±50mm PTFE tube
  • 4x 4mm M3 screws (for the end stop and case lid)
  • 1x 15mm M3 screw
  • 1x M3 T-nut

Assembly

  1. Using an X-Acto knife, cut out the PTFE so it looks exactly like this:

  2.  Carefully insert the PTFE tube from the top into the case with the help of some pliers - try not to apply to much pressure to avoid bending the tube:

  3. You can use a flat screw driver and push on the lower rim of the tube inside the case to push it further down so it sits like this:

  4. Now you can insert the Z-stop and screw it tight using two 4mm M3 screws:

  5. Now put the lid on top and screw it tight, again using two 4mm M3 screws:

  6. Thats it!
