Super cool model! Some parts are a bit thin so they cracked fast, but it still works great. I put some glue on the thinest parts for extra durability :))

I'm having trouble printing the top. How do you print the top lid without supports? The sorting hat and letters is an overhang if printing face down. Plus the hinges need support too. (edited)

Printed at 98% to fit on the Mini.
The 1.75mm filament still works fine for the hinge pin.

The hinge pin required finding something around the house that would work. I had a narrow gage welding rod that worked. I glued it at one end to keep it from falling out. I think simple filament would also fit, but I wasn't sure if it would last.
Great design. It looks better in person than the photos.
It is designed for the 1.75mm filament but you are right this will not last forever :) I'm so glad you like it :)
