Description

PDF

Creality K1 locking mechanism protection from unwanted contact with chain or tube that can cause partial or full extruder unlock. That will possibly create under-extrusion issues and more.

It also contains a guide for Bowden tube, forcing it to stay upright for a longer distance and thus creating conditions for the filament to enter the extruder straight and not at some random angle.

Created to be at some distance from the extruder motor to avoid model deterioration and also to let the motor be ventilated.

Settings:

Nozzle: 0.4

Line height: 0.2

Line width: 0.4

Support: Optional (if you don't like bridging, use some form or touching plate support)

Brim: Optional (if you are confident that your plate sticks good, don't use it)

Material: Any (you can also use PLA if your chamber does not exceed 40 degrees Celsius)

Installation:

  1. Replace extruder motor protection with this lock guard.
  2. If for some reason the holes are too tight, use a mini drill or screwdriver or whatever to reach 3.9mm diameter.
  3. Insert Bowden tube inside the designated hole.
  4. No additional screws needed. Plug and Play
