My kids have some Tintec HK-588 walkie talkies (cheap Chinese clones), but the little rubber PTT buttons keep falling out. We only have one left so I got the calipers out and made a replacement from TPU.
I don't know if it would work in a stiff material, maybe if you took the radio apart and slotted it in, but with TPU is absolutely works and you can just stuff it in the hole.
The button is offset in the radio, so one side of the button is thinner. Make sure put it in correctly for proper clearance - if it goes in backwards it may not release the button.
The “+1” STL has an extra mm around the skirt perimeter, and while this worked I found it unnecessary as TPU95A is stiffer than the rubberized material of the original button. Might be necessary with a softer material.
I printed mine face-down with a support for the lip. My original four tests and the second set of four (with the wall thickness adjustment) all printed just fine, the supports ripped off cleanly with the help of some needle nose pliers. This is necessary as the button plunger is not flush with the bottom.
