Japanese hand saws are sometimes very expensive tools and require a certain amount of care when stored. The usual Japanese way of storing them in a fabric roll-up bag is very gentle and practical for travelling, but if like me, you only use the saws in the workshop, it is also very inconvenient.
This system is much more practical because you can take the right saw out of the drawer immediately and then put it back again.
The holders can be fixed to the system rail with an M4x10 screw in a 15 mm grid. The holes do not have a printed thread, so it may be necessary to pre-cut the thread.
For fastening the rails, holes for 3.5 mm countersunk wood screws are provided in the rails. The screws are recessed so far that the sensitive teeth of the saws cannot come into contact with them.
The project file contains all parts (single) with the big rail set to unprintable, while the gcode only contains one piece of all holders and the short rail. you can simply change, rearange or multiply the parts in the 3mf-file for your needs.
