A few makers have reported that the outer cover does not fit the Ender 3 printers (with a brim) This is because PrusaSlicer and possibly some other slicers will with the default Ender 3 profiles have the print volume restricted to 210x220x250 even though Creality's official numbers are 220x220x250.

To fix this in PrusaSlicer do the following:

  1. Go to “Printer Settings”.
  2. Select “Advanced” in the upper right corner.
  3. Select “Bed Shape”, which by default will say 210x220, and change it to 220x220mm.

The cover (without the adhesion ears) will now fit and be printable, even with a small brim! Before attempting to print, please double check that your nozzle won't hit the bed clamps.

"Affiliate links" means that if anything is purchased through the links, I'll get a tiny commission for each qualified sale, the price still remains the same for you. So if you're planning on purchasing anything at all on Amazon, even completely different things, going through one of the links and then searching for your item, is a "free" way to support my work. Thank you.
