This is my personal project of modular rack designed around Raspberry Pi 4. The rack comes with blades for:

  • 5V/14A power supply

  • Universal Raspberry Pi holder (works for RPis 2/3/4)

  • USB 3-SATA converter

  • 1 Gbit ethernet switch

Beside these blades, the case supports 92x92mm fan. It was designed in SolveSpace and source is available so you can update the design to your needs.

The basic idea is having everything inside one box. If you put power supply and switch aside the rack can hold up to 8 Raspberry Pis and HDD/SSDs. Switch and power supply needs two slots each.

Before you start please visit the project page:

And read README.md. It contains information about assembly and the hardware you need.

Print instructions

Nothing special is needed. I used PETG with 15 % infill but PLA and other materials will be fine too. The thickness of the blade is 1.6 mm so make sure the layer height is 0.2 mm, 0.1 mm or 0.05 mm.
