Linear Door Position Sensor

My home automation systems garage open/close sensor kept giving me false door position readings. Mainly every time the weather would change, the foundation would shift and misalign the magnetic sensor leading to the false readings. This uses a mechanical switch to pickup the door position. The higher tolerance and mount position should make up for changes. This build does require a 3/8 aluminum rod, and a roller lever switch. Wire solder point are the ends, not the middle.
