10-year-old me loved how slot cars would fly across the room when taking corners too fast! 40-years-later me is less thrilled and since most of the guardrails I still have are broken I decided to create a replacement.
The long guardrail is roughly the same as the factory original and I've created a short guardrail that can be used to fill out the curve as needed.
I printed these on a Prusa Mini (angled to fit on the bed) in PLA using a 0.4 nozzle, 0.2mm layers, and 20% infill. Supports are required for the “claw” part of the posts.
