Lauburu

Small keychain with Basque “Lauburu” design. I made it using 2 colours: the base in black, the 1st layer in white (without removing the base from the printer) and the 2nd layer in black again (without removing the previous prints from the printer neither). Finally I putted them together with the white ring using glue.

How to print objects on top of each other without removing them from the printer:

• Slice the base in the center of the printer.
• Slice the first layer in the center, with a Z high of 2mm in this case. If the slicer moves the model to the ground you can add a 2mm cube in a corner of the build plate.
• Slice the second later following the same intructions as for the first one, with a Z high of 2,5mm in this case.
• When we print this model, we need to start the second and third prints as soon as the previous one finishes to avoid the bed getting cold.
