@Bigby If the shell had a slight lip to old the connector in place the screws would not be needed.
@ChiTownGuy_10039 Yes, there are other models that feature such a "lip" but they were no use to me. I made this one specifically to fit the control ports on a Commodore 64 which means it should be possible to insert the connector all the way, flush against the case of the computer. Also, the shell must not be any wider than the connector itself for two of them to fit right next to each other.
Really good design, printed pretty well. I ended up using M3 Bolts, so had to drill the holes to make it fit. But overall really impressed, exactly what I needed
