My machine came with stick on pads that came off within a day of moving the machine around.
These replacements bolt onto the existing legs. I used two of the original M6 bolts that were in them to secure the machine to the crate for shipping, but the other two were too long.
I purposely made them a bit taller to lift the sheet metal sides further from the bench, as I found water could bridge the gap with the original and sit there.
Printing parameters
- TPU or other flexible filament. It will give the friction required to stop the machine moving around during lever pull, and deaden vibrations from the machine travelling to the countertop and amplifying.
- Best printed upside down - not so much for the countersunk head as it shouldn't need support anyway, but just better base for bed adhesion. I didn't require a brim.
- Nothing else really of important - I just did default settings for TPU on a 0.4mm nozzle.
Modifications
- If you don't wish to raise the machine the extra few mms, you can slice off the top of the feet in your slicer. But beware that extra height gives the bolts more to clamp against.
