After attempting to use filament remnants, I found that the remaining filament had a mind of its own. The original spool was too large and too far away. The filament would twist and turn causing kinks, making the extruder under feed and ultimately lead to failed prints. I looked reposition the spool to no avail. I tested the loose filament and decided on the area nearest the extruder. After examining the potential spool site, I inspected the Y carriage and started to measure. I made a few prototypes and finalized my design. I originally printed on low quality 0.28 and was pleased with the results. I used concentric supports (fastest) which greatly improved the threads. Supports are highly recommended and did not add much more time. I also printed at 20% cubic style infill. 3.5HRS Print time @ 100mm/s ** ADDED REPAIRED NUT FILE
