This is a simple slip in door hinge shim. This shim is designed around a standard 3-½" radiused corner door hinge. The screw holes are slotted so the shim can be slipped in and tested without fully removing the hinge screws. The shim will be visible if installed on the door side of the hinge, but will essentially disappear if slipped in between then jamb and the hinge.
As modeled and printed at a 100% scale, the shim should be 0.050" thick. To change thickness, unlock the scale factor by clicking on the grey lock button. This will allow you to change the scale in one axis while leaving the other dimensions alone. At this point you can linearly scale the Z axis value to achieve any range of thicknesses you need. Every 10% up or down in scale will change the thickness by 0.005" (.127mm)
Z Axis Scale | Shim Thickness (Inches) | Shim Thickness (mm) |
100 | 0.050 | 1.27 |
50 | 0.025 | 0.635 |
150 | 0.075 | 1.905 |
