I broke the original part at the motor shaft connection. I have made some changes that fix this problem.
The idler is in two parts, the first part is bolted to the second part with three screws. A piece of metal with two screw holes is used to properly clamp the motor shaft to the plastic part.
If you choose the "idler1_M3nS.stl" part, you can reuse the two square nuts and the two M3x10mm screws to clamp the motor shaft, just like in the original Prusa part.
You will need :
The tolerances are very tight, remove any imperfections before assembly.
This is a remix from the original Prusa R1 part.
Print the object "support.stl" in PLA (this is important) and the other objects in PETG.
When printing "idler_1.stl" or "idler1_M3nS.stl", you need to pause the print to add the piece "support.stl" you made earlier. This will prevent printing in mid air. Before resuming the print, slow down the printing speed to 50%.
Don't worry, PETG and PLA don't stick together 👍.
I used the setting "Prusament PETG" with 5 perimeters at 0.2 mm layer height.
