I saw the original Ikea Lack Stack Adapter(https://www.printables.com/model/11146-ikea-lack-stack-adapter) but wanted to make multiple stacks of lacks tie together to give them more stability as well as helping them support each other. I also wanted them to look nice when standing side by side and to position it correctly and not have to worry about myself or my kid knocking them out of alignment.
I came up with this and the side by side version that worked pretty well, I then wanted to grow my wall a bit more and had a funky corner I wanted to utilize for my printer as well as to have easy access to.
While printing them I ran out of filament half way through. This turned into a happy discovery when I noticed that the bottom half missing allowed me to put them on the floor and it would sit flat and tie the feet of the lack-stacks together.
You could extend this further by adding either wheels or felt pads to the bottom of the half-printed pieces to make it easier to move the stack around if/when needed and that may be a project for another day.
The author remixed this model.
