This is a replacement shoulder button for the PSone series DualShock controller, model SCPH-110.
I lost mine while doing some maintenance on one of my controllers and decided to try modeling and printing a replacement instead of buying a whole controller, as I couldn't find a place anywhere online to buy just the shoulder button itself.
It works pretty well, tho due to the differences between various PS1 controller revisions, this part will only fit the PSOne SCPH-110 model controllers, the button will need to be adjusted to fit other PS1/PS2 controllers.
Print material does not seem to matter, just make sure the finished print measures 8.8mm W x 17.8mm L or the replacement button will NOT fit or work smoothly.
FDM prints should be printed on end for best strength, as pictured above. Be careful when removing the supports, as it's very easy to split the button in half. I wound up just gluing mine together with ABS Juice, and also using ABS Juice to smooth out the top of the button for a better feel.
Resin prints should be printed upside down as pictured above. That's what worked for me at least. =)
Included is a version of the button with a "1" cut into the top and a clean one with no number on top.
Use standard settings for FDM printers. 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height.
Enjoy!!!
Edit: made the tabs on the sides a bit longer to keep the button from getting stuck when mashed from off-center.
On further testing, I'd recommend printing in ABS-Like resin for the best results.
