Why go to the casino when you can print the casino? Introducing my fully-3D-printable roulette wheel! Works almost exactly like the real thing except much smaller! You can now live out all your Vegas dreams from the comfort of your own home!

The wheel is printed in two main parts, the base and the wheel itself. The numbers are printed separately and glued into place.

I printed the base of mine with Hatchbox Wood PLA and followed that up with some sanding and staining. The wheel itself is Duramic Copper PLA.

Printing tips:

If you print the base in wood PLA as I did, I recommend sanding the inside of the base to remove any rough spots to facilitate maximum spin. If you use regular PLA, it should be plenty smooth enough but it doesn't hurt to check for any bumps.

To print the numbers, print the first layer in white, pause the print, swap for the appropriate color, and resume. Once printed, just line them up carefully around the wheel and glue them in place with your preferred adhesive (I used Loctite Professional Super Glue).

The ball should be printed with 100% infill to add extra weight. It's a bit too light otherwise and has more potential to fly off the wheel.

Both STL and STEP files are available for download. The STEP files will result in a smoother print if your slicer supports them.

Be sure to post your makes! If you like the design, please consider tipping on Ko-fi. Thank you! :-)
