Ever wanted to show off 3D printing, but scaled up?  Now you can! With the added benefit of being a tissue box, you can use this model of extrusion to clean up the extrusions of your nose! Don't need yet another tissue box? Use it as whatever other dispenser you can imagine!

The box itself is made up of one continuous spiral from the nozzle all the way to flush with the bottom surface. Easily print the nozzle in a different color on single filament machines and slip onto the end of the filament spiral. Add a small amount of glue to hold the pieces in place.

Printing

The nozzle will print without support material, and there are options for the box itself.

  • “Extrusion Spiral” - will require support material, but prints in one piece.
  • “Extrusion Spiral Walls" & "--- Lid” do not require support material, except for maybe a tiny bit under where the spiral raises to the nozzle. They are keyed to assemble together with a little bit of glue.

With my print settings, the separate parts will save approximately 30g of filament.

Dimensions

The opening is 135mm in diameter and 120mm deep. The opening on top is approximately 52mm in diameter. This was modeled off of a roll of Kirkland signature TP.

Shown print was printed in Polyalchemy Gold Elixer and Makergeeks Tiger Stripe Orange
