This is all the stuff to mount an Original Ice Tower Cooler intended for a Raspberry Pi, on an Orange Pi 5.
52Pi have released a kit to mount a Low Profile Ice Tower Cooler on an Orange Pi 5. I was already working on this project when I heard about the 52Pi official kit.
I have no idea any details of the 51Pi kit. I don't have one (yet?).
So anyway, I just did my own thing, not related to 52Pi's thing in any way.
Doing this thing requires a pair of these laser cut brackets. I don't have a laser cutter that will do steel. So I had to order a small batch of these, or else pay a minimum order fee. So if you want to do one of these, but you don't have a way to cut the brackets, contact me. I may have a few to sell.
There is a whole album with pics of all of this and explanations of everything.
There's a place on the bottom for a 2.5" SSD.
This case is intended to be used with threaded heat-set inserts. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09KZSJS88
There are little recesses on the bottom for these silicon feet www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073W1B3G1
I designed this to be printed at .25mm layer height. .24 will work if you want to respect magic numbers or whatever. But there are a couple of pieces that are pre-supported and if you print at other layer heights, the support may bind.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
