For a science outreach project, a colleague requested that i make a model of the Cas9 protein.
Using the Crystal structure of Streptococcus pyogenes Cas9 in complex with guide RNA and target DNA from https://www.rcsb.org/structure/4OO8 I converted to STL using ChimeraX https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/
Repaired with netfabb via the Prusa slicer and then sliced for SLA using Lychee slicer.
Printed on a Anycubic photon mono 4k using light supports, removing the internal one and manually re-adding the required ones for the DNA strands.
Note: DNA and RNA strands are very flimsy.
